Our Communion Policy

On receiving the Sacrament of Holy Communion, we welcome to the Lords Supper all baptized Christians who have been prepared to receive this sacrament. We believe that ‘in, with, and under the bread and wine’ we receive Christ’s true body and blood for the forgiveness of sins and the strengthening of our life with Christ and with each other. We believe that this sacrament is more than a memory meal; it conveys the Real Presence of Christ in a supernatural way to us. If this is the sincere faith of the communicant, we welcome the communicant to join us at the Lord’s Table, for the communicant is a member of the Body of Christ at Fishers of Men.
